Background
ABS Technology got its roots as Alabama Computer Associates (ACA) back in 1995, and Bob Lloyd acquired the company in 2002. Associated Business Services, an accounting firm serving the Montgomery area since 1979, purchased ACA in 2014 and brought in Michael Lange as Managing Partner of the new business. In order to build stronger branding between the Accounting business and Technology business, they changed ACA’s name to ABS Technology.

Understanding Information Technology is such a critical part of a business being successful, so we work to be a team member with your business. Our technicians assist you in utilizing technology to help your business thrive. We have many strategic industry partners, and these partnerships allow us to provide high-value solutions to our clients. However, our goal is not to sell you products. Our goal is to find solutions that make sense for your unique business needs and work within your budget constraints!
We believe in ethical relations with our clients. We will not recommend a product or service that we wouldn’t use for our own businesses. For instance, when we provide an IT Consultation to your business, our recommendation will always be what we feel is the best solution for your project, never based upon what we want to sell you or what we may make higher margins on.

Community
We believe in strong community involvement! ABS Technology supports our local sports teams and sponsors the Alabama National Fair & Family Guidance Center. We are always looking for other opportunities to give back!
Military
Bob Lloyd is retired U.S. Air Force, Michael Lange is a U.S. Air Force veteran, and Michael’s two sons are currently serving in the US Military. So ABS Technology strongly supports our Military! The Montgomery area has quite Military presence and ABS Technology is here to support them by offering active duty military members a 10% discount on residential services every day!
Beliefs
ABS Technology is founded on Christian beliefs and values. Michael is active at Coosada Baptist Church serving on the audio-visual team and Bob is a lighting engineer at Century Church. Our Christian values are an everyday part of how we interact with our clients.
