Our History
ABS Technology has a long‑standing legacy in the Montgomery business community. The company began as Alabama Computer Associates (ACA) in 1995 and continued to grow under the leadership of Bob Lloyd, who acquired the business in 2002.
In 2014, Associated Business Services, a local accounting firm serving Montgomery since 1979, purchased ACA and welcomed Michael Lange as Managing Partner. To unify the branding between the accounting and technology divisions, the company officially changed its name to ABS Technology.
Today, our name reflects our mission: delivering trusted, high‑quality technology solutions backed by decades of experience and community commitment.
Committed to Our Community
At ABS Technology, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We proudly sponsor local sports teams and actively support events such as the Alabama National Fair and organizations like the Family Guidance Center. We are also active members of many local networking groups, including BNI, Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Millbrook Chamber of Commerce & Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association.

Michael Lange is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, his sons proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps, and Conlyn served in the Alabama National Guard. With such deep military ties in our leadership and our families, supporting the military community is a core value of our company.
The Montgomery area has a strong and active military presence, and we are committed to giving back. To show our appreciation, ABS Technology offers a 10% discount on residential services for all active duty military members—every day.
